How much Wheatgrass Juice to drink?

If you are just starting wheatgrass juice, here is some basic advice to keep you going!

1. Start with 1 Ounce of Juice a Day! Gradually build up to 2 ounces over the period of about 2-3 weeks. You don't need much to see effects in your energy levels and overall health!

2. Drink it on an empty stomach and don't eat for about 30 minutes after drinking it. This allows the grass juice to absorb fast and effective so you get the full benefit.

3. Keep about 1 flat a week going per person.. each flat yields about 12 ounces of juice.
If you keep a regular schedule it will be easier to stick with growing it! It is so easy to grow and requires just basic maintenance of watering once a day.

4. If you get tired of drinking wheatgrass, don't give up! You can switch over to barley grass juice which has the same nutritional benefits but is not so sweet, it has a completely different flavor and can help you keep going!

hi does wheatgrass have mold and make you have nausea?
is frozen ok/ it tasted a lot better than raw to me
but i want the benefits for my depression

Sometimes Wheatgrass has mold. It is something that washes right off. Most people cut the grass right to the root, put it in a big colander and power rinse. Sometimes the grass juice itself
might cause nausea if someone is very toxic and tries to drink too much to begin with. It is better to start with 1 oz. per day. If that much makes you sick at the stomach, reduce to ½ oz per day.

When juice is frozen, it loses some of the enzymes in the freezing process and again in the
    thawing process.

You can drink it! I would start with no more than a teaspoon a day and build up very very gradually watching how you feel.

Any studies with results that wheatgrass juice helps with depression? If so, at what amount? What are some negative side effects of wheatgrass juice?

I am reading conflicting reports that wheatgrass juice causes depression and others that it helps. Please share your opinion of research you have done after reviewing studies. Thank you

HI, I have been using wheatgrass of and on for about a year. I was wondering if it would be better just to stick to it full time once a day for better benfits, and how many times a day can I consume it. Also I have been told that once you cut the grass you need to drink it right away, but I was wondergin can you cut it, juice it and store the juice for awhile to save time, and if so how long can you do that, and do you lose any nutirients. Lots of questions I kow, but very crious on your opinon :)

Is it safe to take multi-vitamins with wheatgrass? Would I be overdosed with minerals?

Hi. I'm using the powdered form of the wheatgrass recommended by my doctor. Is this just as effective as the real grass?
And it suggests 9oz. of the mix, three times a day.

Can someone please help. I ordered some wheatgrass for my husband. I juiced it for him but i gave him way too much. He's been really poorly for the last few days, the doctor thinks he's got a blockage in his bowel. Is it possible that too much wheatgrass would have caused this?
