Grow your own Nameko Mushrooms (Pholiota nameko) These are Japan's second most popular cultivated mushroom. The Nameko has a strong flavor, some report they slight taste similar to that of cashews. This Nameko mushroom kit yields one to two pounds of mushrooms. A 50-65° F environment is best for cultivation. Certified Organic!

Each Nameko Mushroom Growing Kit consists of pure mushroom mycelium growing on a sterilized medium, or substrate. The substrate used will vary, depending on the mushroom being grown.
