Unless you are older than me, age 70. Anyway, I put 2 cups of seeds in my Vitamix dry container, blended for 50 sec., needed the tamper too. Next, I added the flour to a cup of butter milk along with a tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/8 tsp. black pepper, 1 tsp cinnomon, 3/4 cup soaked raisins and 7 oz water. I added some honey, 2 oz. and 1/4 cup sugar. Next, I blended, mixed etc. and put the batter in a 10" Swiss Diamond fry pan and into a 360 F oven. I baked this till it was 204 F. internally, and tried to wait till it cooled completely. In this I was unsuccessful.

It was delicious. My current baking experiments involve no fat or eggs and lower amounts of sweetenings. Next time I make this I will use only dates, and leave out the sugars.

Using sprouting seeds, living food, to make food for the living, well, its a natural thing isn't it? Forget rolled oats, groats, oat "bran." Just get the real thing, make food that is fresh, alive and tastes good too.
